Conditions That Can Be Treated with Regenerative Medicine

Regenerative medicine involves using your own body’s tissue to help heal disease and injury. Williamson County Integrative Medicine specializes in helping patients regain their quality of life with regenerative cell therapy. Before we list some conditions that can be treated by regenerative medicine, it may be helpful to know a little bit more about the treatment we offer.

Stem cell therapy focuses on delivering stem cells to parts of the body that are in need. Stem cells can be harvested from, known as Mesenchymal Stem Cells. Because there is a significant decrease in the amount of stem cells present in a patient as they age, we use stem cells extracted from umbilical cord blood donations. They are always screened for your safety in a lab that meets the strictest conditions. This ensures that we are able to provide every patient with a rich source of stem cells instead of extracting an unknown amount of stem cells from the patient’s own body, which may affect patient outcomes. There is very minimal overall procedural risk.
